Abstract

Interprofessional learning and practice can be positively self-reinforcing and can promote improved care. Australia is showing leadership in the field of interprofessional collaboration. Changing attitudes to interprofessional collaboration is a key to improving health care. Implementing interprofessional collaboration requires a multifaceted approach, and research to underpin it. ©The Medical Journal of Australia 2011
