An abdominal wall jig for surgical craft workshops.

Abstract

An improved jig simulating the abdominal wall and peritoneal cavity is described. It can be used to teach the techniques of abdominal wound closure and stoma formation. It has proved to be a valuable addition to our anastomosis workshops.
