Abstract
We report a clinically, radiographically, and pathologically definite case ofa giant cell tumor (GCT) of bone arising in the tibial tuberosity. To our knowledge, this represents the first reported case ofa GCT of bone in this location. Due to involvement of the patellar ligament, the defect was not filled with methylmethacrylate; instead, bone grafting was performed to promote healing. GCT needs to be considered in the differential diagnosis of a lytic lesion of the tibial tuberosity.Entities:
