Abstract
Reactive oxygen species (ROS) mediate various cell fate decisions in normal and transformed cells. In this issue of Cancer Cell, Zhu et al. demonstrate the ability of ANGPTL4 to engage integrin-dependent survival signals by activation of the NADPH oxidase Nox1, thus mimicking anchorage conditions and bypassing anoikis by controlling ROS.Entities:
