Medical and surgical treatment of spasticity.

Abstract

Significant advances in the medical and surgical treatment of spasticity have occurred over the last decade. These improvements in treatment and the previous work on which they are based are presented. In particular, Foerster's pioneering observations and the neuropharmacology of antispastic drugs are discussed.
