Alfred Fleisch (1892-1973): professor of physiology at the University of Tartu, Estonia.

Alfred Fleisch was a Swiss physiologist who invented several medical devices, among them a device for measuring airflow known as Fleischs's pneumotachometre. The airflow measurers - transducers - are still well known and are used all over the world in different varieties of spirograph.
