Abstract
The objective of this study in progress is to determine whether decreasing the number of well-baby visits during the first two years of life from the currently allowable ten visits to five, can be done with efficacious and safe results. Five hundred babies under the care of their family physicians were randomly assigned to an experimental group receiving five well-baby visits in the first two years of life or to a control group receiving ten visits. This article presents the results pertaining to the collection of the cohort.Year: 1980 PMID: 21293680 PMCID: PMC2383718
