Abstract
Torsion of the testicle is a well-recognized urological emergency. Torsion of the cryptorchid testicle, however, is described in the urology literature, but not well recognized in the emergency department. We discuss a case of a torsed cryptorchid testicle and review the pathophysiology, imaging modalities, and prognosis.Mesh：
