Abstract
Sialolipoma is a new variant of salivary gland lipoma that was first proposed by Nagao et al (Histopathology 2001;38:30-36). Three cases of submandibular gland sialolipoma have been previously reported in the English literature, all of which were in adults. We report an unusual case of sialolipoma of the submandibular gland in a 3-year-old boy. This is the first reported case of submandibular gland sialolipoma in a child.Entities:
