Screening females for gonorrhea.

K V Woolnough, E Domovitch, D Wilson.

Abstract

Routine culturing for gonorrhea in low incidence populations is not indicated, as shown by examples from the literature and the authors' own practice. An alternate approach to detection of gonorrhea is recommended which involves assessment of risk based on routine gynecologic functional enquiry.
