Abstract
Following a complete history and physical examination, the next step in investigating the male partner of an infertile couple will be to order semen analyses. Even with optimum collection and processing, wide laboratory errors may occur. When the clinician receives a report, interpretation is beset with pitfalls. This article describes the collection and processing of semen samples and discusses how best the information can be used by the practicing clinician.Entities:
