Abstract

Catalytic asymmetric syntheses of various isoxazoline-N-oxides have been accomplished by asymmetric phase-transfer conjugate addition of bromomalonate to nitroolefins and subsequent ring-closing O-alkylation. © The Royal Society of Chemistry 2011
