Pseudomonas folliculitis.

I Jen.

Abstract

Pseudomonas folliculitis has been reported by several authors in recent literature. So far, most of the outbreaks involved whirlpools in motels, health spas and private homes. This communication may be the first report of whirlpool folliculitis occurring in an apartment complex. This new clinical entity, which may be misdiagnosed as other pruritic dermatoses, can spread to involve many individuals with significant epidemiologic implications.
