Abstract
Two elderly patients with longstanding gastrointestinal symptoms were eventually diagnosed as having cancer of the stomach. Both were treated-one surgically, the other with chemotherapy. While they were `cured' of the disease, they succumbed to the treatment. These cases raise questions of the approach to be taken to malignancy in the aged.Entities:
