Abstract
Primary tumors of the lacrimal sac are rare, and mucoepidermoid carcinomas of the lacrimal sac have only been reported 13 times in the literature. We reported an intermediate-grade mucoepidermoid carcinoma that was managed with wide local excision, medial maxillectomy, and external beam radiotherapy, and the patient has remained disease-free for 7 years. Orbital exenteration had generally been recommended for these tumors, but newer, more conservative resections along with radiation therapy may be equally effective.Entities:
