Abstract
We report the case of a 38-year-old man who developed a false aneurysm of the anterior tibial artery after a true-cut needle biopsy of the shinbone. Although arterial damages are a known theoretical risk of such a procedure, to our knowledge, this is the first case to be reported. Repair was achieved by means of an arterial resection and anastomosis.Entities:
