Abstract
BACKGROUND: Premature death from suicide is a leading cause of death worldwide. However, the pattern and risk factors for suicide and other external cause injuries are not well understood. * Multivariable adjusted RR was calculated by adjusting for age, sex, region (north vs. south), and urbanization (urban vs. rural). Models included stratification by province to adjust for cluster sampling, except for the model for which region (north vs. south) was the main study variable.
