The Family Physician as Peacemonger: How to Talk to Your Patients about the Threat of Nuclear War.

B A Morris.

Abstract

The threat of nuclear war concerns most Canadians. Many family physicians may consider the issue important as a topic of preventive medicine, but feel uncomfortable discussing it. Physicians must first inform themselves and deal with their own feelings and psychological defense mechanisms before they can help their patients through the same stages.
