Abstract
We present a case of acute toxoplasmosis infection in a 36-year-old man with long-standing ankylosing spondylitis, treated with adalimumab. We review the association between antitumor necrosis factor therapy and toxoplasmosis. Our case illustrates that opportunistic infections may occur in patients treated with adalimumab, and emphasizes the importance of clinical suspicion and serological tests.Entities:
