Abstract
The presence of the anti-melanoma differentiation-associated gene 5 antibody was evaluated in 13 patients with juvenile dermatomyositis (JDM). The antibody was positive in 5 of the 6 patients with JDM-associated interstitial lung disease (ILD), but not in the 7 patients without ILD. This antibody is a useful marker for early diagnosis of JDM-associated ILD.Entities:
