Congenital eyelid eversion.

Kara M Cavuoto1, Jennifer I Hui.

Abstract

Congenital bilateral upper eyelid eversion is a rare, benign condition that often resolves spontaneously without permanent sequelae. The authors present an unusual case requiring multiple surgical interventions in a newborn child. A previously undescribed method that restored anatomic eyelid position in this patient is also outlined. Copyright 2010, SLACK Incorporated.
