Abstract
We retrospectively examined infant mortality and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-free survival among 211 infants who received a comprehensive package of health services, including breast milk substitution and clean water access, to prevent maternal-to-child transmission of HIV and improve child survival. The cumulative 12-month infant survival probability was 0.97 (95% confidence interval: 0.94-0.99). The cumulative 12- to 18-month HIV-free survival probability was 0.95 (confidence interval: 0.91-0.97).Entities:
