Abstract
This article presents a case of type III aortic dissection presenting as a spinal cord syndrome with a prospectively negative initial aortogram. The patient serendipitously illustrates a multimodality approach to aortic dissection imaging. The advantages and disadvantages of conventional radiography, aortography, computed tomography, echocardiography, and magnetic resonance imaging are discussed.Entities:
