A novel method for characterization of piezoelectric material parameters by simulated annealing optimization.

Abstract

A novel, accurate characterization method for piezoelectric materials, based upon a simulated annealing optimization algorithm, is developed. The theoretically calculated complex material constants of lossy piezoelectric materials with precisely fitted electrical impedance resonant characteristics by this method are reported.
