Abstract
The tissue tolerance of fibrin tissue adhesive sealants has been investigated. These materials are increasingly being used to close wounds and to stabilize spongy bone transplants. An in vitro model consisting of isolated osteoclasts in primary cell culture was used. The 2 commercially available tissue adhesive sealant protein solutions differ substantially with regard to the spreading and resorption capacity of the cultivated osteoclasts.Mesh:
