Distances were calculated from G1–G2 restricted sequences and are based on 10 Leptospira strains isolated from rats in Madagascar (TOL55, TOL54, TOL51, TOL24, TOL17, TOA44, TOA25U, TOA25R, TOA23 and TOA13, GenBank accession numbers HM639728-HM639737).
