Abstract
Although the number of colony-forming units (CFUs) on the hands of health care workers (HCWs) is a critical measurement in research studies of hand contamination, few studies have investigated the correlation between hand area and CFU count. In the present study, we calculated the area and measured the numbers of CFU on the right hand of 197 HCWs. Our data indicate that close relationship between hand area and CFU count.Mesh：
