Effect of vitrification and thawing on human oocyte ATP concentration.

Somjate Manipalviratn1, Zhi-Bin Tong, Barbara Stegmann, Eric Widra, Jennifer Carter, Alan DeCherney.

Abstract

Vitrification/thawing has a significant negative impact on oocyte ATP concentration. However, incubating oocytes up to 180 minutes after thawing allowed oocytes to regain some ATP level.
