Treatment of Acanthamoeba keratitis
Topical antifungal eye drops, 0.2% fluconazole, 0.1% miconazole, 0.1% micafungin sodium (one or two drugs) Systemic antifungal therapy oral itraconazole (200 mg/day) Surgical debridement (once or twice weekly) |
Notes: Topical 1% atropine sulfate and antibiotic eye drops as supportive therapy.
