Abstract

OBJECTIVE: To study the chemical constituents of Buddleja albiflora.
METHODS: The constituents were isolated by column chromatography and their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic analyses.
RESULTS: seven compounds were isolated and identified as aucubin (1), catalpol (2), acteoside (3), martynoside (4), ursolicacid (5), daucosterol (6), beta-sitosterol-3-0-beta-D-(6'-0-palmitate) glucopyranosisde (7).
CONCLUSION: All these compounds are obtained from Buddleja albiflora for the first time.
