Abstract
Six patients with chronic, refractory anorexia nervosa were treated with fluoxetine. Depressive symptoms diminished in all patients, and this was associated with weight gain. Subjects, despite frequent medical comorbidity, tolerated fluoxetine well, even in dosages greater than those used for depression.Entities:
