Abstract
The authors discuss problems connected with the natural occurrence, biotransformation and metabolism of mercury. The presented data indicate the methylation and demethylation of mercury both in the environment and in laboratory animals and in human subjects occupationally exposed and non-exposed to mercury in terms of absorption, distribution and elimination.Entities:
