Abstract
Coronal shear fractures of the distal humerus are uncommon in the pediatric population. We present the case of an 11-year-old girl who sustained a coronal shear fracture of the distal humerus, requiring open reduction and internal fixation with the use of headless screws. At the time of the latest follow-up, she had fully recovered the range of motion on the affected limb, had returned to full physical activities without limitations, radiographs showed a completely healed fracture with restoration of the articular line, and there was no signs of avascular necrosis of the capitellum.Entities:
