Abstract
A new familial case of paracentric inversion of chromosome 14 inv(14)(q24.1q32.1) ascertained by multiple abortions in a female carrier is presented. A review of the literature revealed 14 cases of paracentric inversion 14 recorded so far. According to the different breakpoints, two major groups of inversions of the long arm of chromosome 14 can be recognized.Mesh：
