Abstract
Gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) is the most common mesenchymal tumor of the gastrointestinal tract and may arise from any part of the gastrointestinal system. However, it is most frequently observed in the stomach (60%) and small intestines (30%). GIST is observed at a rate of 4% in the rectum. Distant metastases of GIST are rare, and the liver is the most common site of metastasis. This case is presented because of the rare incidence of bone metastasis to the femur head.Entities:
