Abstract
A 69-year-old man presented with multiple recurrent oral ulcerations for about 20 years. After he began having difficulty in breathing and swallowing, esophagogastroscopy was performed and showed ulcerations, erosions and scars on the mucous membrane of the pharynx as well of the esophagus. Linear IgA disease (LAD) was diagnosed based on histopathological and immunofluorescence examinations. In this patient with LAD, the buccal, pharyngeal and esophageal mucosa was affected without involvement of the skin.Entities:
