Abstract
This study describes the third known human case of an invasive infection caused by Trichosporon loubieri. The 21-year-old patient was suffering from a third relapse of T-lymphoblastic lymphoma and had been in pancytopenia for three months when she developed a blood trichosporonosis. The patient died 10 days later, despite intravenous voriconazole therapy. Final unequivocal identification of the strain was done using molecular biology tools.Entities:
