Abstract
Leiomyoma of the rectum and anal canal is an unusual benign mesenchymal neoplasm that originates from smooth muscle cells. We describe the clinical presentation, MRI findings, and surgical treatment of a rare case of perianal leiomyoma confirmed by immunohistochemistry.
