Abstract
Our experience in the management of 12 malignant renal tumors involving the inferior vena cava is analyzed and a plan to manage the different degrees of caval involvement is discussed. The use of Pringle maneuver to control hepatic circulation during removal of suprahepatic caval extensions is recommended. Followup to date supports aggressive operative management in these patients.Entities:
