Abstract
To better understand why treatment resistant depression (TRD) has been resistant to systematic study, the author analyzes methodologic problems facing TRD researchers with a focus on the difficulty of defining TRD. Then approaches for clinicians to interpret limited and potentially biased TRD data are suggested.Entities:
