Abstract
Ectopic opening of the common bile duct into the stomach is an extremely rare congenital anomaly of the biliary system. Thus far, only three similar cases have been reported in the literature, and none of them had accompanying gastric cancer. In this report, we present a case with ectopic opening of the common bile duct into the stomach, which is an extremely rare anomaly, associated with gastric cancer, and we discuss the possible relation between the direct flow of bile into the stomach through the ectopic bile duct and the development of gastric cancer.Entities:
