Abstract
This report presents a case of portal vein thrombosis possibly caused by anastomotic stricture after living-donor liver transplantation. The patient underwent systemic thrombolytic therapy with tissue plasminogen activator and subsequent balloon dilatation of the stenotic lesion, and both were successful. These procedures allowed the patient to receive antiviral therapy to improve the pancytopenia, leading to a sustained virological response.Entities:
