Abstract
The mechanisms by which T helper 17 (Th17) cells contribute to autoimmune encephalomyelitis are likely diverse and not fully elucidated. In this issue of Immunity, Siffrin et al. (2010) propose that Th17 cells engage in direct interactions with neurons, leading to neuronal dysfunction and exacerbation of disease.Entities:
