Abstract
Bronchogenic cysts are one of the most common bronchopulmonary congenital malformations found in adults. Most authors agree that symptomatic or infected cysts should be surgically removed. We report our experience in which we treated an infected mediastinal bronchogenic cyst with a combination of antibiotics and drainage by endobronchial ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration, with resolution of symptoms and no evidence of recurrence after an 18-month follow-up.Entities:
