Abstract
'Mirror-like' or 'twin' aneurysms, which are located bilaterally on corresponding arteries, constitute less than 5% of overall aneurysms and mirror aneurysms on proximal anterior cerebral artery (A1) have never been reported in the past. We report a case of bilateral proximal A1 segment aneurysms (mirror). The approach to this patient is being described and the literature reviewed. The proximal A1 segment aneurysm is more approachable from the contralateral side. In case of mirror A1 aneurysms, the approach may be better from contralateral side of the larger aneurysm.Entities:
