[QTc prolongation during treatment with agomelatine].

Ralf Kozian1, Günther Syrbe.

Abstract

A 58 years old woman with a depression showed a QTc prolongation during treatment with agomelatine which was fully reversible after stopping administration. QTc prolongation during antidepressant treatment is not unknown especially when tricyclic antidepressants are administered. This case is the first occurrence of a QTc prolongation during treatment with agomelatine. © Georg Thieme Verlag KG Stuttgart · New York.
