Abstract
This article describes the clinical features and outcome of a series of 73 inpatients who fulfilled Perris' criteria for cycloid psychosis. It is argued that although the cases differ from either schizophrenia or affective psychosis in some ways, the condition of cycloid psychosis is best regarded as an atypical variety of affective psychosis.Entities:
