Abstract
The first supraicosahedral bis(heteroborane), 1-(4'-Cp-4',1',6'-closo-CoC(2)B(10)H(11))-4-Cp-4,1,6-closo-CoC(2)B(10)H(11) has been synthesised as a mixture of racemic and meso diastereoisomers. Analysis of the molecular structures reveals clear evidence of internally crowded molecules.Entities:
