Abstract
In 158 patients operated on the abdominal organs, hypophosphatemia and decrease in the content of ATP, 2,3-DPG in the erythrocytes were revealed. The level of protein-free calcium was increased in the plasma and erythrocytes. This evidenced in favour of the increased ionized calcium content. Intravenous administration of potassium dihydrophosphate prevented the development of hypophosphatemia and concomitant decrease in the content of inorganic phosphorus, ATP, 2,3-DPG in the erythrocytes.Entities:
