Abstract
A well-defined, slow-flowing vascular lesion was found incidentally by Doppler abdominal sonography in the left renal hilar region of a 36-year-old Taiwanese woman. Clinically, the physical examination and laboratory screening were unremarkable. A magnetic resonance angiography of the area near the renal hilum showed a saccular mass (3.5 x 3.1 x 2.5 cm) embracing the aorta by the anterior and posterior branch of the aneurysm originating from the left renal vein to the inferior vena cava. However, the patient refused further invasive intervention and has since been examined periodically by ultrasonography for 18 months without increasing size or symptoms. 2010.
